Project Brief:

The Episcopal School of Dallas is a coeducational academic community founded in 1974 by Stephen B. Swann and a group of Episcopalian local leaders. The first ESD class was held in 1974 and included eight 7th graders. Today, approximately 1,150 students attend ESD.

Every Summer since 2012, we have had the privilege of working with this amazing school, in choosing the flooring products that best suit their needs. One of this year’s big projects was the Study Commons.

Replacing their old original ceramic tile, with J&J Flooring Group, 5mm, 20mil wear layer LVP “Timeless” 9”x48” series, paired with accent colors and from the “Make Your Mark” 9”x48” series. With an integrated abstract design of J&J Kinetex “Network” 24”x24” series with added accent colors, transforming the Study Commons into a much quieter environment in this high-traffic area. To top off this project, we installed J&J Incognito 24”x24” walk-off carpet tile at all the entrance doors.

Art House of Dallas, on 3740 Holland Ave, seeks to bring together artists of music, writing, visual art, creative expression, and spiritual formation into the community to support and promote what they do. Our client selected Kinetex, from J&J Flooring Group. It is an advanced textile composite flooring that combines key attributes of soft-surface floor covering with the long-wearing performance characteristics of hard-surface flooring. This 18”x36” Kinetex style is called Soundtrack. The color is 3019 Music.
We really enjoyed working with our client on this project and they were very pleased with this product and our crew.

C2 Flooring recently helped renovate the flooring for the Cotton Bowl offices in Fair Park in Dallas. The product installed is a Mohawk 24″x24″ “Pattern Perspective” in the color “Space”. Everyone was happy with the installation and transformation!

This office renovation was a complete flooring makeover! The client chose a 24″x24″ carpet tile installed at a quarter turn and jet-black cove base to complement. C2 Flooring’s installation crews did a fantastic job to demo the previous flooring and create a level surface to make the new install beautiful and long-lasting.

This Container Store received a complete overhaul to become one of the only two The Container Store Custom Closets stores in the country, with the other one located in Los Angeles. It is set up to show how rooms can work with their products. We worked with the designers to provide the custom flooring design to be installed and create organization within the space. C2 Flooring provided and installed multiple carpet tiles and LVT to create individualized “rooms” withing the wide-open space.
